The only major championship of the season has come and gone, but there is still a ton of golf left to be played. The home stretch of the PGA Tour’s 2019-20 season starts this week in Greensboro as the Wyndham Championship sets the table for the FedEx Cup Playoffs, which start next week with The Northern Trust.
After three rounds, Si Woo Kim sits alone atop the leaderboard. Kim was tied with three other golfers heading into action on Saturday and he did his best to separate with an 8-under 62. He’ll start Sunday’s final round with a two-stroke lead over Oppenheim and Doc Redman as the PGA Tour closes out its regular season with plenty of FedEx Cup points on the line. Kim is also looking for his third career victory on Tour and first since the 2017 Players Championship.
Kim will play with Oppenheim on Sunday as they try to hold off a host of challengers. Twelve players will start Sunday within six shots of the lead.
